I orderd the ham/turkey breast combo on Nov11 on line with my cc. I called them today Mon 23 to inquire about shipping... they said its scheduled for next Mon the 30th... there's nothing they can do - he said I should of called instead of using online... then why the F do you have that option... he didn't offer any solution just a "sorry" it then took approx 5 mins to find and cancel the order... THANKS FOR NOTHING
Well I'm sorry too... you've lost a customer who has supported you over 14 years. Robert J Simpson
I just received my whole turkey from Honey Baked and was shocked! The 'whole' turkey that is advertised as 11-13 lbs. was the size of a roasting chicken. It will hardly serve '10-12' as noted in the description. I've ordered multiple times in the past, but this one is substantially smaller. I paid $55.95 plus shipping and will now have to purchase another from the grocery store just to have enough for Thanksgiving dinner. Terribly disappointed HB - you've lost a recurring customer for good.

We just spent almost $15 on two ham and swiss sandwiches at the New Albany Indiana store and are extremely disappointed with them. The meat was dry, the bread was borderline stale and the the lettuce and tomato dressing were wilted and tasteless. We'll definitely never go there again.
I purchased a honey baked ham and saw they that Honey Baked Ham Company changed the sticker weight to not only charge more money but also to extend the expiration date. I have no idea how many times this sticker was changed and how old this ham actually was that my family consumed. Management was absolutely no help at all in assisting in any kind of resolution and to insure the health and safety of their food products.
My $40.00 gift card went nowhere. The cheapest thing in the protein line was a turkey breast and it still cost me $8.38 over the $40.00 voucher. Total was 48.38. After driving to the store, they claimed a system issue so as not to have to take the order so I was forced to order online. This makes a terrible gift! It puts and burden on the receiver and will likely cost the receiver more than any reasonable gift voucher! They obviously have issues in filling seasonal orders as well.
This ham is not the same. My last two ham was just bake no honey or melting glade. The last ham had to much fat on it. I buy h b because my grandkids liked it now the recipe change. I will try the ham a couple more time to see if it get better. I will give 5 star on the turkey breast.
I went into the cartersville location yesterday to buy a honey baked ham for Christmas. I was turned away saying I needed a reservation to purchase a ham and there wasn't enough for everyone. I was so disappointed that I cried. My 86 yr old father in law was looking so forward to that ham and we had to tell him we couldn't get one... What a sad look on his face because he doesn't understand why we couldn't get one. We had no problem walking in for Thanksgiving and getting a boneless ham... thats simply all we wanted was a small boneless ham because its the four of us and we have no other family. This company is so huge that there sould be enough for everyone. COULD YOU PLEASE SEND OUT A NOYE OF SOMEKIND TELLING YOU THAT YOU UAVE TO RESERVE A HAM AT CHRISTMAS... ALL I GOT WAS A COUPON ON A HAM I COULDN'T BUY. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
If I could do a -0 I would have!
I have been buying the smoked meal for the last 7 years this year I ordered it plus finally got the ribs.$426.59 I actually ordered it online on November 9th to be delivered on November 25th. The 25th came usually get an email saying out for delivery didn't receive it so I contacted honey baked ham. I was on hold for 3 and 1/2 hours I was number 136 person in line finally got to somebody and a gal had told me I had ordered on the main website for honeybakeham co. Which the Hub is out of Georgia not California and that California website was actually Shophoneybaked.com I told her I order online same way for last 7 years. Anywho I had to called Georgia was on hold for another hour and a half so gentlemen told me they didn't have any system, that the girl gave me the wrong information and I need to call California back. So I called my MasterCard to see who charged $426.59 to my card. It said Georgia Honey Baked Ham is what my Mastercard, the lady I spoke to told me HB CA CP 333 Web. So called back Georgia on hold again for another 1hr for a gentleman told me that they're running behind and if I don't get it by 9 p. M fedex. To call back and they will trace it obviously it didn't come I called back and lo and behold the office was closed for the holiday. At 5:30 in the morning my husband and I went to the grocery store to buy a turkey and try to salvage Thanksgiving for my family. Today is December 7th and still waiting on my refund. I had already put a dispute with my MasterCard to get my money back $426.59 and I will not buy a honey baked ham from either one of their websites now. No apology no email from them. Nothing just left it in the Wind blowing and the icing on the cake is my older sister bought a Honey Baked Ham on Monday the week before Thanksgiving and got it the day before Thanksgiving and only spent $60 that's the real kicker. I would like to know if anybody else has run into this welcome to 2020 from hell! Can't be over soon enough.
The General Manager at the Pembroke Pines location was extremely rude and unprofessional to me on Wednesday, November 25,2020. I am well aware that the staff was extremely tired due to the high demand for Hams, Turkeys, etc. However after standing in line for over 30 minutes that night, I observed Mrs. Irrelevant allow a certain amount of customers to proceed towards the store and informed the last 10-12 customers whom were all in line before closing that if we did not have a reservation, we would not be able to make a purchase. When I asked to speak to the Manager, she advised me that she was the General Manager. When I asked for her name, she stated twice "IRRELEVANT" I have been a customer at this location for many years and have never been disrespected, or humiliated. If this behavior is allowed by the General Manager I could only imagine how the front line staff conducts themselves. You are supposed to lead by example.
My family has loved Honey Baked Ham at the holidays for decades. We'd always just pick it up at the store. For the past couple of years, I bought hams to send to family that could not join us in person, and had a few issues, but because the ham is so good I kept buying it. NO MORE~ because of the pandemic we could not get together this year, so I spent hundreds of dollars to send nice meals to my family members. I ordered these on Nov 11 TO BE DELIVERED ON NOV 24TH! This, at the recommendation of the rep. Well- my daughter got HER Thanksgiving meal on the Friday AFTER Thanksgiving (I don't know WHAT she served to guests!). No styrofoam box packing- just leaking bags! Seriously. Every bag was leaking and the product was warm (delivered by a sub-contractor of the shipping company, no less). I told her to throw it all out and not risk food poisoning. The order to my son is totally lost. (##@$%@%$%@!) Worst in a way is that I called to check on my order the day before Thanksgiving and was told "You are Customer 110 in queue - your estimated wait time is 600 minutes" (!)
I ordered a ham with three sides for my Thanksgiving dinner and I found the sides to be the worst that I have ever seen. I was so excited that I wouldn't have to cook this Thanksgiving and I was totally embarrassed when I tasted of each of the sides. The ham was good as always but as always overpriced, but I can deal with that if it is good, but I will never make the mistake of purchasing sides to go with my ham again. Thank goodness I had a gift certificate and didn't have to pay the entire amount. I would have really been upset if I had paid the total amount. Over and done with Honeybaked.
On 25-Nov-2020, we drove over a hundred miles to the Tulsa, OK location and spent $197.00, for two hams and a couple sides, sides were ok at best. Ham was dry the texture was like chewing on paper, gristle and fat was the main product of the ham. Family we had over took just a couple bites of the ham and some even spit it out into their napkins. Trusted Honey Baked Ham of Tulsa for our 2020 Thanksgiving Dinner because we have had such GREAT SUCCESS with other locations in the past. This was a total con job, they stole the cost of the meat at least. They ruined our family Thanksgiving, then there was no way of fixing it as everyone was visiting on a short time schedule. Tried calling the store and customer service, received message to leave number and we would receive call back. Never Happened. Oh yea, the clerk said the receipt was in the bag with the frozen sides, guess what there: No Receipt, thank the Lord above I have proof of the purchase because I paid by Visa.
I've been a customer of Honeybaked for the better part of the last 15 years. This is the first time the delivery was late, and it arrived the day after Thanksgiving, rather than 11/25, the day before Thanksgiving, as was promised. This was not UPS's fault -- it wasn't even shipped out until 11/25.
I tried calling when I realized that the order was shipped late, and apparently I was number 182 in the queue, and it would be a "600 minute" wait. Not a typo, that's six hundred minutes. I sent emails, but I have received no response to date.
Come Thanksgiving morning, my husband and I were scrambling to put together a different meal. The day after Thanksgiving, we finally received the ham and sides. Okay, so we have Thanksgiving dinner again on Saturday, right? Everything was too salty.
We are disappointed in so many ways. They need to ship on time, especially when they upcharge for providing perishables during a holiday week. They need to respond to emails and/or get enough people to pick up the phone on what should be one of their busiest weeks of the year. We could have had a lovely Thanksgiving for our small family, but it was a disaster thanks to Honeybaked.

My turkey breast was not in a bag, It was in a container but not sealed. Within 4 hours, I had a bad reaction, still trying to recover. It was freezer burned or something. I think the health inspector might need to check out the particular location. I hope this was an isolated event. The hard coating was seperated from the turkey. More details and feedback when I feel a little better.
